You will be responsible for performing all procurement and contracting activities including pre- qualification of suppliers, tender management, negotiation and closure of contracts to obtain optimal total cost of ownership (cost, service, quality). You will work closely with all Amdocs units in order to fully understand their needs from Procurement. You will develop expert knowledge in the relevant procurement category center and work to implement the global category strategy and guidelines. You will develop and maintain expert knowledge of respective global supply markets, competitors and product innovations. You will identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals. You will perform due diligence at new potential suppliers and pre- qualify them before initiating a business relationship. You will lead the supplier selection processes (CBA). You will own and conclude the appropriate legal Procurement agreements. You will provide periodic reporting for management on Procurement activities and savings. You will place purchase orders with suppliers and act as the owner of the entire P2P process. You will conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential areas of improvement.Experience: 3- 5 years Storage administrators are required to take care of daily tasks- such as allocation, performance monitoring, tuning and manage bcv/ clone operations. The candidate also needs to work storage group management, management of storage allocations, work with vendors for resolving storage problems. Troubleshoot, open calls with vendors and watch ticket Q to meet Level of Effort for our internal customers. Ability to follow procedures in a tightly run Change Control system and communicate to peers and upper management. This position has high visibility and requires a professional demeanor. Promptness, working under pressure, hardworking, multi- tasking Storage administration Experience in High End Storage (at least one of the following) 1 - EMC VMAX, VMAX3, DMX - command line, Unisphere administrator 2- Hitachi HDS USPV & VSP - storage navigator, raid manager/ shadow image 3- EMC Mid- range frames Clarions/ Navisphere/ VNX 4- SAN - Cisco/ CLI, Cisco fabric manager. 5- Backup - Data Protector, Virtual tape Libraries, HP Storeonce, EMC data domain. 6- Is comfortable with most aspects of storage administration; for example, understands concepts and configuration of storages, storage groups, lun provisioning, troubleshooting. 7- Fundamental knowledge about BCV/ clone technologies. 8- Have some experience in backup technologies. (like data protector). 9- A solid understanding of replication technologies - local & remote replication 10- Familiarity with fundamental Unix/ networking/ distributed computing environment concepts is an advantage 11 - Ability to write scripts in some administrative language (ksh, Tk, Perl) is an added advantage Why you will love this job:
