Roles and ResponsibilitiesPreliminary Design - Structural ComponentsProvide basic information for the decision for a certain tower and develop the structural concept of the tower. Preparation of Draft calculations (FE and analytical calculations), preliminary sketches and Engineering of 3D model of the tower structure. Preparation of all input data for the loads calculation => transformation to idealized tubular data (determination of points of interest, masses, stiffness, wind shear, frequencies)Preparation of static + dynamic calculation for the tower concept as basis for the certification.Structural strength verification of all main parts (Towers)Preparation of requirements- and functional specificationsPreparation of Specification (and conceptual design if applicable) for Concrete TowersSupport ISR with Concept design solutions for structural components in Nacelle and hubDevelopment of the mechanical structural components up to the preliminary designVendor development for the first supplier of structural components3D CAD models of structural components with definition of material and dimensions for structural componentsDesired Candidate Profile- Broad hands on experience in structural design considering fatigue- Fundamental knowledge in programming (Excel, VBA)- Good command of the English language verbal and in writing- Experience in the wind industry- Background in Concrete towers, hybrid towers, lattice towers, steel tube towers, othersextreme load calculation, buckling calculation, fatigue calculation, dynamical behaviour, pre-stressed concrete- Up to date knowledge of and working experience with various .- qualified in CAD Inventor 11 or higher- AutoCAD, Engineering data management system, MS office software, FE-Software (Ansys, RFEM, RSTAB.)- Work experience in performing ultimate limit state design in steel constructions (EC3) and concrete constructions (EC2)Perks and BenefitsIndustry: Power Functional Area: Research & Development Role Category: Engineering & ManufacturingRole: Design & Development ManagerEmployment Type: Full Time, Permanent ,
