Job Description

Hiring for one of our client, one of the most trusted logistics solutions providers in India.They provide flexible and comprehensive Last-Mile Delivery, Reverse Logistics, Payment Collection, Drop Shipping, Vendor Management, Cross Border Services and Fulfillment Services and tailored Software Solutions. This Company is headquartered in Pune and has a workforce of 1800+ people on role and 7500+ persons off role. They currently have our operations in 720 cities and towns across the country with 860 centers and servicing 7500 pin codes.Basic qualifications: BTech degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science Have a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive Be a good mentor and loves working on technical challenges Has 5+ years of experience in software development and at least 3+ years as a PostgreSQL developer for a large / high volume project. Work effectively across functional teams and can effectively estimate the effort involved on tasks assigned to him Is inherently curious, spends time learning new technologies, trying and likes to build / experiment. Conduct code review and ensure that coding standards are being followed by the team members.Preferred qualifications:Technical Can breakdown the business requirements into an underlying scalable/secure application design. Believes in POC (proof of Concept) model and likes to quickly build POCs and evaluate pros and cons. Ability to identify possible bottlenecks when system scales and builds / designs accordingly. Ability to roll up sleeves and be able to trouble shoot issues Strong database fundamentals and has experience dealing with database performance tuning, bottlenecks and database ER modelling, databases (PostgreSQL) Expert in PostgreSQL Database internals. Database Performance tuning. Experienced with PostgreSQL & PostgreSQL Architecture Implement and maintain database code in the form of stored procedures, scripts, queries, views, triggers,
