Job Description

Role Overview:

Should have holistic experience in developing front-end Web applications; building Rich Internet Applications using HTML5-CSS3, jQuery, Node.js, Angular JS, React and other eminent JavaScript-based libraries.

Experience of working with Ed-tech products; online/adaptive courseware, simulations, labs, SPA/widgets and learning interactives.

Expertise in iOS (Objective C/Swift), Android(Java), mobile analytics and other mobile frameworks and accelerators. React Native would be a big plus.

Strong conceptual understanding of design patterns, OOPs JavaScript and Mobile

Experience in web accessibility guidelines, Section 508, ADA Compliance, WCAG 2.1

AWS cloud architecture knowledge is must. Knowledge of Azure is a big plus.

Strong knowledge on Best Practices of software application development processes (SDLC) using - HTML5/JavaScript Programming, CSS (incl. of SCSS, Sass, Less)

Sound Knowledge & Conceptual know-how of Native Bridge Frameworks (i.e. Familiar with responsive UI designing for multiple resolutions and form factors inclusive of Smartphone as well as varied tablet devices.

Engineering Degree or Bachelors Degree in Physics or Mathematics or Computer

Required Skills:

Should possess hands-on expertise in coding, design and architecting the solution for various tech components.

Conduct detailed Risk Assessment for solution in scope and effectively evaluate the feasibility for successful execution of the planned solution.

Expertly skilled in HTML5-CSS3, HTMLS5 jQuery and JavaScript (JS) Libraries. Expertise with modern web development technologies, with the ability to architect, design and develop tech. solutions from scratch.

Angular JS et al.; or expertise of working with other pertinent mobile frameworks.

Expertise with NodeJS, NPM package manager, Github

Good Math skills, esp. linear algebra, trigonometry, matrix/quaternion math concepts.

Intermediate to expert knowledge in Unity3D is a big plus.

Decent know-how of market-standard LMS, LCMS, VLE, Course Management platforms and content aggregation models (SCORM, LTI, QTI, Tin Can etc.).

Excellent troubleshooting skills. Strong object-oriented conceptual expertise is required.

RDBMS Production Experience with at least one of the following: MYSQL, SQL Server, SQLITE.

Ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and OpenCV Python based machine learning algorithm skills is a big plus

Key Responsibilities:

Tech. Architect will be responsible for the following high-level tasks:

Define the overall technical architecture (HMVC, MVC et al.) for the software or mobile

Proactively identify opportunities to develop Automation/Script based solutions for production effort optimization.

Discuss/brainstorm and flesh out technical aspects of the software/mobile application in question. Solution architecture is a key component viz. elucidating details on technology stack to be used, dev methodology to be followed, soft dev best practices to be incorporated and devices/platforms to be deployed.

Experience in developing re-usable artifacts/frameworks, re-usable technology solutions (OTS, COTS frameworks).

Proactively identify opportunities for integrating modern architecture patterns and emerging technical solutions into the current design and workflow.

Design and Develop overall technical solution and stand-alone applications ground-up with minimal intervention from other stakeholders.

Work in tandem with Test Leads in the creation and execution of test plans, strategies, and communications (e.g. requirement traceability, test scripts, test data requirements,

Lead and mentor development teams encompassing of Programmers and Software Developers, Engineers.

Work closely with Project Managers, Functional Heads, Business Analysts, ID, VD, UI
