Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications following established architecture standards as well as software development and project management methodologies.
  • Participate in gathering business requirements and assessing existing architectures and resources.
  • Involve in ensuring a quality technical design that satisfies the business requirements of the client.
  • Involve in package evaluations and recommendations, communicating the technological details of the project to the business users and works with the client.
  • Within the overall project delivery, plans and leads various new application development and enhancement projects. Coordinate and communicate with the other tracks and disciplines involved in the project.
  • Work with the Project Manager and Account Manager, help develop project plans; identify development and project risks and collaborates on mitigation strategies.
  • Provide strategic vision for expanding current functionality and for the development and deployment of new features and modules.
  • Work with application development team in delivering the project and deliverables within time and with good quality.
  • Works closely with the end user community and IT to resolve production system issues.
  • Assess requirements for new and enhanced functionalities; identifies impact on existing applications, operating systems, hardware and networks.
  • Perform unit testing, oversee quality assurance of applications through system testing; establishes processes for and conducts code review.
  • Keep up-to date with latest technologies, trends and provides inputs/recommendations to project manager or the architect as required.
Candidate Profile:
  • Education: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / MCS
  • Overall 7 years of experience in CMS Kentico.
  • Prior experience of at least 2 years in technically managing a team of 5 or more resources.
  • Prior experience in resource management and client communication.
  • Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge of .NET Technologies such as ASP.NET, C# / VB.NET
  • Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Principles.
  • Proficiency with Kentico CMS platform
  • Proficiency with altering Kentico source code
  • Strong experience in SQL Server.
  • Experience in modern front-end development techniques, including HTML5, CSS3. Modern JS frameworks such as React or Angular are a plus
  • Content Management Experience (Kentico, EpiServer, Ektron, Sitefinity, etc)
  • Implementation of 3rd party APIs and SDKs
  • Must have strong experience in MVC and Entity Framework.
  • Writing and interacting with SOAP and REST web services
  • Experience in developing and delivering solutions utilizing Service Oriented Architecture, design or redesign architecture.
  • Understanding of modern development methodologies and tools including Agile (XP and Scrum), Rapid Application Development, etc.
  • Excellent Communication, presentation, problem-solving and team working skills.
