Job Description

Primary Responsibilities
  • Management of inbound/outbound data, data processing, and reporting (ETL)
  • Provide technical expertise in ETL, Data Ops issue resolution and demonstrate problem solving skill Supporting requirement analysis
  • Proficiency in SQL query optimization
  • Reviews /walks through code with developers
  • Conducts database code unit tests and code reviews and participate in system and integration test and remedies solution defects
  • Proactively develop and disseminate operational best practices
  • Support team in day to data Data operations
  • Participate in execution of Data Ops strategies
  • Recognize process inefficiencies, form remediation strategy and implementation
  • Lead interactions with internal stakeholders on reporting or data requests
  • Manage internal status reporting
  • Provide feedback and participate in Product releases, in order to align team capacity with data deliverables
Desired Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in data management/Data ops
  • 2 - 3 years of Team Management experience
  • Strong data and business analysis skills
  • Have experience in building substantial ETL pipelines, working with APIs and data warehouses
  • Proven experience mining, integrating and extracting insights from large and disperse datasets
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, R or other data analysis language
  • Experience with BI reporting and data visualization solutions (Power BI, Tableau). Experience with Apache Superset is a major plus
  • Extremely process - oriented with background in operational and or data governance
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously and thrive in a deadline - oriented environment
  • Agile service delivery life cycle (SDLC) methodology experience is a plus
