Throughout the industry there is mounting pressure on organizations to do more, requiring a clear technology strategy that not only addresses the demands of today, but also enables the growth and performance of tomorrow.What you will be doingThis position will be responsible for driving Test Management and Test Strategy for some of our largest and most complex customer projects focusing on adoption of our next generation Trade Capture and Back Office processing platform using a structured, controlled, methodological approach.You will have a pragmatic approach to solve problems and the ability to communicate effectively at all different levels of the organization, customers & internal stakeholders.Projects are likely to include different teams working on different phases of activity at multiple global locations. The ability to manage multiple moving parts therefore needs to be balanced with the ability to manage and lead potentially large groups and virtual teams of professional staff.Key elements of the role are to ensure that test management and strategy on projects align with business and technical requirements, with full traceability from Initiation to Implementation along with documenting & implanting the quality gates for multiple phases.The test phases include System Integration Test (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Performance Testing (PT) and the candidate will demonstrate an ability to identify success criteria with senior Business, Operations and Technology representatives across the portfolio.A further responsibility will be the establishment, refinement, rollout and maintenance of Quality Assurance metrics and procedures for identifying and delivering against a continuous improvement program. (e.g. Defect Management, root cause identification, test cycle duration). The objectives of the continuous improvement program will be to deliver efficiencies across the testing process to bring project dates in earlier.To gain an in-depth understanding of the post-trade business Middle/Back Office and to become an expert in FIS post trade processing suite of products in order to provide the expertise required to execute test management strategy against our projects.Formulation, organisation and monitoring of test management on multiple, large, often inter-connected projects. Oversight, composition and ownership of the test management strategyWork with the Regional Leads and Functional Project Leads in driving test strategy and contribute to executing Projects successfully on time, on budget and with requisite qualityWork with the Global Change Lead to help drive efficiency, consistency and excellence to all aspects of the test management functionWhat you bring:

  • Proven experience as a Test Manager leading large enterprise level programs
  • Knowledge of Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) and STLC implementation including but not limited to create robust strategies for System Integration Testing, UAT, Performance Testing
  • Experience of test management on complex, high value programs operating as part of global teams and multiple stakeholders / teams
  • Prior experience of direct customer interaction, Capital Markets Domain would be a plus
  • Context drive approach to resolve the complexities in the program in high pressure situations
  • Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
  • A track record of implementing efficiencies against identified key metrics and root cause analysis
  • Strong communication, Analytical & presentation skills
  • Exhibit leadership to lead and integrate multiple teams to achieve the common goal with excellent conflict management skills
QualificationsBachelor s degree in business or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experienceCompetencies
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent understanding of STLC process & communicator ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
  • Attention to detail track record of authoring high quality documentation
  • Good analytical skills
  • Organized approach manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
  • Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
  • Willing to travel occasionally (no more than 10%)
