Valve Lead Engineer Job Role: To lead and manage technical activities in a project within Valve group with a team of valve engineers as per schedule at adequate qualityPrincipal Accountabilities: Prepare list of technical clarification and exceptions on client specifications during tender stage towards client and supplier Support Project Engineering Lead in establishing Master Document List (MDL) for valve deliverables for the project scope ensuring its alignment with project plan. Define the Valve engineering resources needed and manage the team throughout the execution. Involve in technical BID evaluation on supplier quotations. Handle the internal and external project interfaces related to own discipline Prepare and present Valves as a part of design reviews to Client and other parties to ensure alignment as per requirements. Travel to attend the kick off, follow up meetings at supplier / Sub supplier place whenever required. Participate in PEM gate reviews and ensure check points related to own discipline are closed. Monitor and control documentation related to Valves (VDS, ITP, SDRL etc.) on project scope and ensure its alignment with procurement valve vendor and structural fabrication. Compile and share the lessons learned related to Valve (deliveries) with Engineering Lead / Execution Manager Be a mentor to Valve engineering team Ensure compliance to CONTRACT related to valve part during project execution Highlight potential deviations/variations (VORs, TQs, NCRs) related to Valve scope to Project Engineering Lead Identify and mitigate risks related to Valves throughout the project Participate in regular meetings with Valve vendor / sub-contractor in order to resolve the issues related to Valve deliveries in a Project Participate in Valve procurement process and follow-up POs, Valve manufacturing (SQs, VOs etc.). Respond to queries raised by Valve vendors / sub-contractors. Skills Required: High level of independency and goal oriented systematic approach Good leadership qualities and ability to maintain good rapport with all stakeholders Detailed knowledge of product portfolio within own discipline and awareness of the related interfacing products Good understanding of CONTRACTS Good understanding of governing documents, company regulations and applicable codes/standards relevant to oil and gas industry Hands on experience in onshore/offshore/Subsea product design engineering including exposure to Fabrication/manufacturing Experience: Total work experience of 10+ years in design engineering for various domains (Industrial/Offshore/Subsea) 5+ years of experience in leading design/analysis team in projects 5+ years of working experience in Subsea/Offshore Oil Gas industries Salary: As per the InterviewEducation: Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical) or Postgraduate in engineering (Mechanical Engineering)Location : Hinjewadi - Pune (India),
