Job Description

    Primary SkillsExperience in WebSphere Application Server Administration Extensive experience in installation, configuration, deployments and ,management of enterprise applications using Websphere Application Server 7.0/8.0/8.5 on linux/unix. Extensive experience in installation, Configuration, Administration and Troubleshooting of IBM Websphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server and webserver plug-in. Extensive experience in creating new Virtual Hosts, host aliases and the generation, propagation of plug-in. Hands on experience in deploying (WAR,EAR), maintaining and troubleshooting of applications in Websphere environment. Creation and configuration of data sources for database connectivity and also configuration of JMS resources. Monitoring and Configuration of WAS servers, diagnosed and resolved WAS issues and failures.Secondary SkillsShould be good in troubleshooting performance problems (memory/heap, CPU Starvation, hung threads) Should be good in Installed fix packs to overcome application server problems Should have good Experience with IHS webserver configuration. Should have Experience in Application Server clustering. Should be good in Logs House Keeping and Analysis of system log files for issue resolution. Have knowledge on Incident Management and Change management. Worked on Problem tickets (PMRs) with IBM to find effective solutions to various problems and performance issues.Ready to work in rotational shift.
