Job Description

Job Requisition ID #21WD52035Position OverviewAs a Tag Management Developer, you will play a key role in supporting Autodesks business on the web by onboarding web sites onto the Tealium Tag Management System to ensure that GDPR and CCPA regulations are adhered to for all Autodesk properties. These sites play a critical role in ensuring our customers have a secure interaction with our websites as they learn about, try, and purchase Autodesks software.You will be assisting with the streamlining of 3rd party marketing tags as well the onboarding of new sites onto the Tealium platform. You will drive the implementation of the Tealium Tag Management System onto our sites with websites developers, Tag Management System engineers, and development partners. With your tag management experience, you will explore how to improve and create a process for both the migration of new sites as well as ensuring conformity for existing sites. This is particularly important as online experiences with the business become more secure. With your technical expertise, you understand system boundaries and can direct engineering resources on the right problems. You know that data collection is just one step in a data collection and security, and that driving Tealium instrumentation platform adoption through advocacy amplifies our success.Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and support the web analytics instrumentation architecture
  • Develop, test, and validate new analytics data capture designs, with consideration for stakeholder reporting needs and long-term business goals
  • Lead the implementation of technical instrumentation through execution teams using agile and traditional project management methodologies
  • Serve as the technical lead to triage analytics-related issues (both in formal development and on an ad hoc basis), and share that knowledge with other partners & stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to expand web analytics collection, especially as they relate to key performance indicators in customer lifecycles
  • Consistently evaluate and where necessary refactor the analytics architecture to improve stability, flexibility, scalability, and future-proofing
  • Build collaborative relationships with engineering and technical teams across the company, sharing best practices and identifying new integration opportunities
  • Increase the velocity of Web Analytics implementations by working with engineering teams
  • Prioritize and respond to ad-hoc requests for web performance analysis from technical stakeholders on occasion
Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, web logs databases and data warehousing
  • Development experience with Tag Management Systems including Tealium, Google Tag Manager and custom data collection systems
  • Knowledge of web analytics data and data structures
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to influence and drive technical adoption of analytics products
  • Strong communication skills with engineers and marketing
