Job Description

    Job DescriptionMandatory Skills-HCL Commerce version 8/9, SaFe agile methodology, DevOps tools, JavaApproximately 3-5 years of HCL Commerce experience preferably in version 9Experience with technical design, development, and implementation of software applications including eCommerce solutionsStrong technical design skills, Object Oriented Programming and development knowledgeUnderstanding of software development methodologies, development processes, change management, and deployment proceduresExperience of working in SAFe Agile methodology and DevOps toolsExperience working within established development standards and implementing coding best practicesHandling multiple roles as required on an agile team Technical Consultant, Technical Lead, Developer, but in an individual contributor capacityGood written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, self-motivated, quick learner, team playerStrong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skillsEffectively interface with organizational roles at all levels within an agile team (product owners, product managers, solution architects, scrum masters, and business users)Proven history coordinating with multiple IT groupsPossess the ability to grasp Business functionality along with technical implementationKnowledge and experience with Jenkins/Quick Build, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipeline, Azure DevOpsExperience in modification/creation of JS, jQuery, CSS, controller/task commandsWorking knowledge of HCL Commerce capabilities such as Management Center, Accelerator, Organization Admin etc.Knowledge of widgets, JPAs, multi-threading, performance optimization techniques, SEO etc.Knowledge of micro services implementation and API architectureKnowledge on customizing or creating JSP using Spring frameworkKnowledge of Commerce caching mechanism is an added advantageKnowledge with Oracle EBS or SAP ERPs is an added advantageTechnical Skills:eCommerce: HCL Commerce Server v8/v9Programming: Java, J2EE, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Ajax, XML, JSONApp Servers: HCL Application Server, TomcatTools: SVN, Eclipse, RAD, Git hub, DockerMiddleware: SOAP & REST web services, WebSphere MQDatabase: Oracle, PostgreSQL
