Job location: Renaissance Industrial & Warehousing Complex, Unit no. WA-06, Village: Vashere, Amane B.O Padgha-Kalyan Toll Road, Tehsil- Bhiwandi, District- Thane, PIN 421 302. Job title: Supply Chain Planner Job Summary The Jobholder ensures managing demand planning, meeting inventory goals, managing tracking systems and acting as a liaison to sales, operations, procurement functions. The jobholder will offer recommendations to ensure ideal levels of inventory in the warehouse meeting working capital objectives. Essential Functions
  • Supervising Demand Management
    • Determine demand at product item level for rolling 12 months in consultation with sales team.
    • Identify demand forecast outliers, risks and develop effective mitigation plans based on statistical analysis.
    • Develop process to handle urgencies and adhoc orders.
    • Schedule and conduct monthly meetings with sales, finance, operations teams.
  • Maintaining Records and MIS
    • All Sales Orders, Inventory on Hand, FG and RM Requirement Plans must be daily updated.
    • Coordinate with Warehouse Manager to report and correct any stock discrepancies.
    • Production Plan and RM Plan must be communicated daily to each plant. Incorporating priorities.
    • Daily, weekly, monthly MIS must be provided to relevant stakeholders.
  • Enforcing Inventory Policy and Plans
    • Production Plan and RM Plan must be aligned to monthly inventory targets as per policy.
    • Conduct daily, weekly, monthly reviews to detect and deviations from production, procurement plan.
    • Must be able to anticipate FG, RM shortages well in advance so that customer service levels remain high.
    • Report on NWSM (Non Working Slow Moving) stocks and monitor dissolution plans.
    • Report on demand, sales, production, inventory to local and global management.
  • Infrastructure and staff
    • Must ensure planning team has requisite laptops, desktops, software tools.
    • Must maintain healthy work environment for all staff and provide fair roster facilities.
    • Must ensure right skill development of team in undertaken all through year.
  • Logistics
    • Must work with logistics team to factor in transit timing of in coming and outgoing goods.
  • NWSM
    • Control Non Working Slow Moving stocks within budgeted limits.
  • Safety
    • Regular safety trainings, safety meetings and safety audits must be conducted.
    • Safety incidents must be reported.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelors in IT, Computer Science.
  • 10 years of experience in Demand Inventory Manager role in a MNC company.
  • Candidates from Polymer, Pigments and chemical industry is most preferred.
Additional Qualifications
  • SAP
  • Fluent in English, profound analytical and proven negotiation skills, MS-Office, Specially Excel - Macro Developments, SAP, additional languages
