Work on the development of equipment design so that the client s needs and other industry standards are met to the highest level Work on 3D modeling software s Work on detailed fabrication drawings required to manufacture parts. Work on detailed assembly files and BOM Ensure different drawing standards are implemented in drafting Expertise on GD&T Knowledge for manufacturing processes Work on Data management and revision control (PDM PLM) Expert on different measurement tools and techniques Responsible for mechanical part selection taking into consideration obsolescence, availability and cost Responsible for preparing and presenting mechanical designs at design reviews Work on AutoCAD for 2D drafting as and when required Ensure the technical competencies and reputation are enhanced and developed to consistently meet the technical requirements of projects and studies. Preparing mechanical specifications for processing/ packaging equipment such as conveyors, converter, Case packer, Conveyors, crushers, agitators, cyclones, air compressors and blowers, etc. Preparing conveyor system calculations to determine component sizing and selection Evaluating and making recommendations for the purchase of various mechanical equipment items. Participates as a team member on various manufacturing engineering projects i. e. Changeovers in layout during new product launches, equipment & machine changes and surges in production. Installation Support at client site for various Machine lines. To prepare documentation (SOP, Installation EI, etc. . ) as well for machine lines. 3D Modelling software s: Inventor, Solidworks, Solidedge, Expertise on productivity tools of 3D modeling software s 2D software: AutoCAD Specialty in FMCG equipment: Primary packaging, secondary packaging including End-of-Line (EOL) packaging systems. Should be able to create manage design development project Schedule. Ability to manage client interaction and peer review on design issues during all project development phases. Should be able to understand machine operations and can analyze requirements and makes recommendations for improvement in processes. Tracking and Improvement of OEE of the Packaging machines Should understand various simulation software s for assembly simulation as well as FEA, CFD analysis.
