    CityMall - Sourcing Manager - FMCG Segment - Central & East UP - cities like Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Allahabad About CityMallCityMall is a community commerce platform focused on 400 million new internet users living in 400 small cities, towns and villages in India. It is currently serving customers across 24 Tier 2 cities and their associated towns and villages, with products across categories like Grocery, FMCG, Fashion, General Merchandise, Mobiles & Electronics, Consumer Durables. Rural Segment has largely been untapped by ongoing e-grocers, and the offline channel is largely broken in terms of supply chain as well as assortment of products. Key challenges in tapping the segment are due to lack of Consumers trust, extremely low online purchases and low average order sizes. Citymall has efficiently utilized these challenges to its advantage through Community leader (a network manager) who is appointed from the same social circle as the customer. These micro entrepreneurs help us acquire & retain customers by building a layer of trust, help in demand aggregation and execute the last mile (optimizing mid mile costs because of larger aggregated order values).What we are looking for - - Speed and Rigor- Execute fast with target based approach- Ownership- Drive projects end to end across value chain - Collaboration- Work closely within and across verticals- Data driven & Analytical- Break down problems to actionables. Drive experimentation backed with data Responsibilities-- GMV - Own the sales number, carry out monthly and quarterly planning- Category Width & Depth - Assortment relevance & growth - Category Led Consumer NPS Management- Margin Growth - Improve sourcing capabilities and grow margins- Strategic Associations - Bring in new contracts, brands and parallel lines of income - Regional Brands - Understanding Regional Demands and building regional Assortment- Price Perception - Consumer Focussed pricing & keeping prices competitive - Inventory Health - Own working capital requirement and eliminate inventory lossRequired-- Local assortment knowledge of FMCG categories for UP state, especially Central and East UP - cities like Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Allahabad- Existing relationships with brands, manufacturers and suppliers in the region- Minimum 5 years of local sourcing experience - Team management experienceThis job opening was posted long time back.
