Job Description

Job DescriptionPosition : Area Development Manager - Commercial Business , Projects (Andhra Pradesh)Reporting To : Zonal Manager - Projects (South)Location : Hyderabad / VijayawadaPosition Summary : The position will be responsible for planning and delivering the revenue objectives of the assigned area by implementation of Project business strategies . The position will also be responsible for application and coordination of public and private sector tenders through sub - contractors or directly , and building the specification business with architects / interiors in the area , with support from the Specifications team . Responsibilities : Build a sales order pipeline by reaching out to the Project owners , builders , architects , Project Management and Hospitality ConsultantsFollow - up and ensure timely collections from the customers as per the agreed payment termsCoordinate with the Logistics team to ensure timely delivery of materials and also with the Accounts team for collections update and statusWork in collaboration with the Specifications team to build the specification pipelineAddress customers technical queries and requirements by facilitating communication with the Specifications teamIdentify the key customer segments in the area and , define and implement local initiatives to increase business opportunitiesManage large tenders of public and private sector constructions right from the specification stage to the final closing stageFocus on the conversion of quotations to Purchase Order and finally winning the projectPrepare and present various business reports such as Sales forecast , Materials forecast , Collections Overdue , etc . on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis , as requiredWork with other internal teams such as the Product Management , Marketing and Specifications to engage customers by planning various events like lunch and learn , etc . and participating in trade fairs , etc . Ensure proper site coordination for timely installation and ensure customer satisfactionSkills Required : Strong customer focusStrong drive to deliver high growthGood relationship building and communication skillsBasic knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPointAbility to make effective conversations with project owners / architects / Project Management ConsultantsFunctional understanding of project business in the building materials industryAbility to travel extensivelyEducational Qualification and Experience : Graduate Engineers; Specialization in Civil / Mechanical stream will be preferredMBA in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantageRelevant experience of 7 - 10 years with the same industry,
