Manager Maintenance at Spinning Textile Roles and ResponsibilitiesMaintenance OperationsPlanning and effecting preventive maintenance schedules to increase machine uptime/ reliability; thereby accomplishing planned production targets. Identifying areas of obstruction/ breakdowns/ shutdowns in time & taking steps to rectify the equipment through the application of troubleshooting tools.Handling activities related to de-bottlenecking for enhancing efficiency and productivity.Guaranteeing optimum inventory for obtaining maximum utilization of machinery.Controlling Maintenance Expenses within Budgets by way of Planning timely replacements and vendor development for local spares.Quality ManagementImplementing quality concepts like QC and Kaizen for the production line.Maintaining quality standards for incoming materials, ensuring stringent adherence to quality standards, norms & practices, identifying gaps, and taking corrective actions.Attending to Customer Feedbacks and Complaints, taking preventive and corrective actions related to those feedbacks.Developing different types of yarns according to customers requirements.Maintenance planning and preventive activity with the latest automation.Manpower planning & management with stores & follow-up for procuring corrective action.Assessing the in-process quality and quality-related in-process abnormalities and corrective and preventive measures and their implementation and review on regular basis. Supporting involvement is ISO 9001-QMS and EMS activities.Introduced system for maintaining a minimum stock of spares and consumables. Moreover, prepared a new and feasible maintenance plan for every machine.Attained maximum utilization of manpower available and revised manpower planning.Conducted proper training to everyone in the team, especially to fitters for servicing of gearbox and bearings and analyzed their skill level, and promoted them.To ensure proper/ timely maintenance, overhauling, replacements schedules to evaluate & optimize the life of spares, repairs/cleaning, and preventive maintenanceTo prepare annual machine budget, incorporate suggestions based on cost/ profit analysis.Planning and decision skills for purchasing, erection, selection of suitable textile machines, and supportive equipment.Desired Candidate ProfileThe candidate must have hands-on experience in large Textile manufacturing units and he should possess experience in machines setup Blow Room- Rieter Unifloc A1/2T, Carding Machines- Rieter, Unilap- Combing Machines Rieter, Speed Frame LMW, Ring Frame- KTTM, LMW LR-6.
