Job Description

    Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) in Design & Engineering. The AGM will be responsible for overseeing design engineering projects, managing engineering teams, and ensuring the successful completion of projects. The role will be based in Ahmedabad.Key accountabilities/ deliverables:Complete and detailed electrical designing and engineering of kW and MW-scale PV plantsHands-on in Designing and calculation of DC and HT/ LT AC systems, or upto 220 kVsubstationDesigning and calculation of power transmission and distribution systemsDesigning and calculation of Hybrid RTC plant with BESS and wind turbine combinationsCable sizing, routing and loss calculationDesigning and calculating on of electrical safety, protection, earthing, metering, etc.systemsUPS and battery sizingDeveloping & guiding team for key single line diagrams (SLD), plant layout diagrams,interconnection diagrams, etc.. Designing of control logic diagrams and schematics, SCADA and PLC systemsEvaluation and due diligence of various bids/ RFPs/ queries for development and EPC ofpower plantsCompetent to do project planning, manpower estimation, scheduling and budgetingDevelopment of specifications, bill of quantityFloating of inquiry for electrical supply and worksEvaluation and negotiation on quotations/ proposals/ bids from suppliers and contractorsKnowledge and compliance with IS codes/ IEC standards for electrical designingCoordination with clients, management, project teams, own/ other design teams, supportteams such as procurement, etc. throughout the project cycleShould be able to manage a team, communication with internal & external stakeholdersTools: AutoCAD, ETAP, PVcase, Heloscope, Homer Hybrid system design toolEducational Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech./ M.E./ M.Tech. in Electrical EngineeringMinimum relevant experience: 12-15 yearsIndustry to be hired from: Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Industry, Power SectorTechnical skills required: Knowledge of IS codes/ IEC standards for electrical designingAutoCAD, PVSyst, PV*SOL, SolidWorks, HelioScope,
