Job Description

    Position Overview: The Assistant General Manager (AGM) of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, increase market share, and enhance brand awareness for the FMCG company. The AGM of Marketing will work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and operations to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with overall business objectives.Key Responsibilities:1. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that align with the companys business objectives.2. Conduct market research to understand consumer trends and preferences, and use these insights to inform marketing strategy.3. Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.4. Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute effective trade marketing programs that drive sales growth.5. Collaborate with product development teams to ensure that new product launches are supported by effective marketing campaigns. 6. Manage the companys brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including media partners, agencies, and vendors.8. Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to continually optimize marketing campaigns.9. Lead and develop a team of marketing professionals to achieve departmental goals.Qualifications:1. Bachelors degree in marketing or related field, MBA preferred.2. 10+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the FMCG industry.3. Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans.4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.5. Demonstrated experience managing a team of marketing professionals.6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data to inform marketing decisions.7. Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.8. Experience working with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and operations.9. Knowledge of digital marketing channels and tools.10. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
