The primary focus of the Tax Analyst will be to develop an understanding Firms Tax Methodology and carry out Tax compliance in line with those. They will work as part of the US and India Tax team to support in completing the Tax compliance successfully for the client where Wipfli is engaged to perform Tax return preparation.Tax Analysts will work under the guidance of a Senior. They will be assigned a buddy who will support them during the first 3 months.We are looking for smart team players with a strong desire and capability to grasp new things quickly, along with excellent communication skills. You will have the opportunity to learn and apply analytical and accounting skills, incorporation of emerging trends, risk assessment and business processes.Responsibilities:
• Learn and understand WIPFLIs Tax methodology and various Tax tools
• Actively participated in the training program scheduled by the company to understand the needs which will help in performing your job
• Develop an understanding of Tax concepts and accounting principles (e.g., US GAAP) throughout Tax engagements, under the guidance of your Senior/Manager, so that requisite elements of the Tax are appropriately considered
• Work with your Senior/Manager to apply relevant Tax standards to the work performed to achieve high quality deliverables
• Deliver Tax returns of high quality that are based on sufficient and appropriate support
• Demonstrate professional skepticism in the execution of returns and Tax work performed
• Ability to proactively discuss work related issues with US or India team to continue to make progress on assigned work
• Ensure the work is performed within the given timelines or proactively communicate with your Senior/Manager about provided budgets
• Preparation of required communications letters, management letters, etc.
• Adhere to the work plan defined by the Senior/Manager in India and the US
• Support the team in providing related services to clients as required
• Collaborate and interact with the India and US team members for clarifications, open items, status calls, quality as per the need
• Participate in organizational activities and growth

• Possess strong fundamental knowledge of accounting
• Well spoken and written English
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Strong desire and ability to learn
• Ability to grasp new things quickly
• Ability to plan and prioritize multiple projects, follow through on requests, handle work priorities and meet schedules
• Able to generate quality work product in a timely manner with strong attention to detail
• Able to communicate well with team members across US and India
• Team player with good interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, and Adobe PDF
Education- Masters degree in Commerce (M. Com)/ MBA or PG with Finance MajorPercentage- 75% and above in 10th, 12th, and GraduationOpen to work out of the Ahmedabad location
