Job Description

    The company is a subsidiary of a Dutch MNC based at The Netherlands. The company has had a successful track record in India for over four decades and continues to be a market and technology leader in the segments (Textile Rotary Printing Screens, Rotary Printing Machine, Engraving Chemicals) that it operates in. The company also produces Graphic products, Digital products and poised for growth in Graphic and Digital products.The company is listed on the Mumbai Stock Exchange. The factory and the registered office are based out of Ahmedabad and we have presence across key markets in the country.
    • Description of the activities: Area Sales Manager (Non-Woven & Label Printing) - International Business
    • Duties, powers, and responsibilities:
      • Maintaining and expanding global relationships with (potential) customers in your product portfolio;
      • Introducing, promoting, and selling products from the portfolio;
      • Visiting and maintaining contacts with (potential) customers;
      • Advising the customer on technical matters and staying informed about relevant market developments and anticipating them;
      • Translating technical problems of the customer into commercial solutions;
      • Drafting a sales plan and achieving objectives in terms of revenue, margin, and growth;
      • Attending tech fairs and overseeing various agents and distributors of SPGPrints worldwide.
      • Issuing and following up on quotations
      • Closing order and collecting payments
      • Monitoring relevant market developments
      • Recording all relevant account information in the appropriate resources
      • Achieving the sales targets in accordance with the sales plan in terms of turnover, margin, and growth
    • Job requirements:
      • B. Tech. / Degree in Engineering, MBA preferred from reputed govt. recognized University.
      • Extensive experience in label & Non-woven Sector in an international environment.
      • Able to translate the wishes and needs of customers into commercial opportunities through technical insight or affinity
      • Affinity with production and industrial applications
      • Extensive sales experience in the manufacturing industry in an international environment
      • Combines relationship management with acquisition
      • Knowledge of sales, marketing, and negotiation techniques
      • Proactive attitude, initiative-driven, decisive, and results-oriented
      • Convincing communicator who can effectively communicate with people in the company who are diverse in terms of languages, background, culture, and seniority
      • Willingness to travel internationally regularly and extensively
      • About 10 to 12 years experience in a dynamic product management or marketing role in textile industry.

      • Age 35 to 40 years
      • Languages Known English, Hindi, Gujarati
    • Salary CTC: Rs. 16 - 18 lacs per annum. Higher CTC can be considered for deserving candidates. No compete, Intellectual and industrial property rights and Confidentiality of information and Duty of confidentiality clauses are applicable while appointment.

      • Managerial position reports to General Manager Sales.
      • Based at Head Office, Ahmedabad.
