Job Description

    Job DescriptionDesignation:Assistant General Manager AccountsDepartment:Accounts & FinanceReporting To:Vice President FinanceEducation Qualification
    • Chartered Accountant (CA Inter)& MBA (14 Years of exp)
    Experience
    • 8 yearsof total relevant experience in Accounts & Finance & after CA Inter or after MBA 14 Years of Exp
    Job Profile & Responsibilities
    • Primarily responsible for maintainingall statutory books of accountsin compliance with applicableAccounting Standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
    • Ensure accurate accounting ofincome, expenses, assets, and liabilitiesas per statutory provisions and compliance norms.
    • Oversee end-to-endaccounting functions, including ledger maintenance, financial statements, audits, and regulatory compliance.
    • Finalize Monthly, Quarterly, and Half-Yearly accounts(Standalone & Foreign Entities) within30 daysfrom the end of the respective period.
    • Finalize Annual Accounts(Standalone & Consolidated) within60 daysfrom the financial year-end.
    • Ensure full compliance withDirect and Indirect Taxes, includingIncome Tax, GST, ESI, PF, and other applicable statutory laws.
    • Implement, update, and monitorbusiness and accounting policies and proceduresin line with regulatory changes and best practices.
    • Ensuretimely filing of all statutory returnsand adherence to compliance obligations under government laws and regulatory authorities.
    • Work in anSAP environment; experience inSAP implementationwill be an added advantage.
    • Handlebanking transactions, including import & export documentation, Letter of Credit (LC) issuance, document release, and related activities.
    • Manage and coordinateBank Stock Audits, Tax Audits, Statutory Audits, GST Audits, and Internal Audits.
    • Prepare and reviewMIS reports, budgets, andmonthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsfor management review.
    Key Skills & Competencies
    • Strong knowledge ofIndian accounting standards and statutory compliance
    • Hands-on experience withaudit management and taxation
    • Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
