Job Description

    Role Summary :We are seeking a visionary and execution-oriented Business Unit Head to lead and scale amanufacturing-led business focused on dairy infrastructure, cooling, and refrigerationsolutions. This role carries end-to-end P&L responsibility, with a mandate to drive growth,improve margins, build high-performance teams, and establish market leadership acrossnational markets.The ideal candidate combines strong commercial judgment, deep operationalunderstanding, and entrepreneurial drive, with the ability to work closely with customers,government bodies, and internal stakeholders to accelerate adoption of technology-ledsolutions.Key Responsibilities :1. Business Growth & P&L Leadership Own and drive overall business performance including revenue, margins, profitability, andcash flows. Scale the business to the next level through expansion, operational efficiencies, and strategicinitiatives. Design and execute pricing strategies aligned with market dynamics and profitability goals.2. Strategic & Commercial Excellence Develop long-term growth strategies with a strong understanding of local, rural, and regionalmarkets. Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and business models to drive sustainablegrowth. Act as a consultative leader to customers, positioning the organization as a trusted solutionpartner.3. Operations & Cost Management Build and run a lean, efficient operational setup to manage costs and enhance productivity. Make multidisciplinary operational decisions spanning manufacturing, supply chain, service,and sales. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes and systems.4. Leadership & People Management Lead, mentor, and scale large cross-functional teams across manufacturing, sales, service,and support. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, integrity, and customer centricity. Build strong leadership bench strength for long-term organizational growth.5. Technology, Innovation & Market Adoption Champion innovation and out-of-the-box thinking to solve customer problems usingtechnology. Drive adoption of new technologies through customer education and value demonstration. Maintain a steep learning curve across emerging technologies and industry advancements.6. Stakeholder & Government Liaisoning Manage key relationships with customers, suppliers, partners, and internal leadership. Liaise with government officials and agencies to enable technology adoption, schemes, andinstitutional sales. Represent the organization in industry forums and strategic discussions.7. Governance, Integrity & Compliance Ensure the highest standards of integrity, governance, and statutory compliance. Maintain strong internal controls and ethical business practices.Key Skills & Competencies : Target-driven, visionary leader with a proven record of building and scaling businesses Strong commercial acumen with expertise in pricing and margin improvement Deep understanding of cost structures and operational productivity High technical orientation with innovative and solution-driven thinking Proven experience managing large teams at scale Strong service mindset with high energy and execution focus Entrepreneurial and consultative leadership style Experience working with government bodies for technology adoption Excellent stakeholder management across customers, suppliers, and internal teams Strong integrity, compliance orientation, and governance mindsetQualifications & Experience : Graduate degree (Engineering preferred); MBA is a strong advantage 15 years of experience, including national-level leadership exposure Proven track record of improving P&L through growth, efficiency, and margin expansion Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes Exposure to refrigeration technology is desirable (not mandatory) Experience with startup scaling or funding support is a strong plus
