    Job Title: Assistant Manager/Manager Business Development Chemical Industry - AhmedabadJob ResponsibilitySales Planning/ BudgetingPrepare Business Budgets for the set of customers in the assigned territoryDevelop strategies and tactics to achieve the monthly, quarterly and annual sales targetIdentify potential business opportunities through rigorous lead generation effortsPlan and ensure customers in the territory are visited on a regular basisDemonstrate product capabilities to potential clients through use of presentations, case studies and other marketing collateralsUncover customer pain areas and real needs with respect to the application and propose an effective solutionParticipate in the client meetings to explore possibilities of cross-sell & Up-sell opportunities.Conduct market research and recommend suitable customers to the management for business requirementsParticipate in seminars & exhibitions to identify potential Business opportunities. Ensure a robust pipeline of opportunitiesMeet key potential customers to promote products for achieving sales growthBuild relationships with key stakeholders in the customers decision making unitEnsure Quotations & POs are released on time. Co-ordinate with CRM in case of any gaps and further changes as per client requirements if any.Planning/Implementation of Marketing activitiesPrepare and execute a Marketing plan with various customer segments in your respective territory for communicating effectively the company profile, Products and achieve business objectives.Ensure effective implementation of planned marketing activitiesPrepare & execute Trial Plans for conducting product demosPrepare Trial Reports as per processes and present it to CustomersAttend events /exhibitions / seminars/ webinars from time to timeProvide inputs to the National Sales Head and Management for designing marketing activities and updating marketing collaterals from time to timeKey Customer ManagementOversee multiple key customer accounts and ensure 100% adherence to laid down rules of engagementAchieve monthly, quarterly, half yearly and Annual volume & value targetsRegularly visit and meet the key customers to understand their challenges and needs to provide the right solutionManage and develop strong relationships with Key customer, DMU members. Attend to their requests and resolve issues promptlyEnsure that payments of outstanding bills are received on time as per the monthly targetsFollow up for order schedules on regular basisPlan & achieve cross-sell of other productsMis & Compliance Reviews:Adhere to all the data sheets in the system along with various sales reports as per timelinesAttend reviews as per the review calender. Participate in discussions and strategy formulation as and when requiredProvide Monthly visit plan to the existing and potential new customers for review and approvalComply with the expense reporting process outlined by the managementSales and marketing StrategyStay up to date with market trends including changing customer preferences, competition activitie, etc to ensure business development.Provide new product insights basis market intelligence for the regionGather market feedback and consumer insights and provide inputs to NSH on a regular basis
