Job Description

  • Real time anomaly detection solutions that proactively identify service impacting incidents and prevent system downtimes. This is done by leveraging an ensemble of Deep learning and LSTM models.
  • Natural Language Processing for entity, topic clusters and relationship extraction
  • Text Analytics in human generated tickets and correlation with event tickets for event noise reduction . Apply Natural Language Classification and RNN algorithms to automatically route tickets
    • Log Analysis - Text mining, message clustering / templatization, Logs to metrics, anomaly detection, event annotation and sequencing
    • Learn Log Message Sequence for each mainframe batch job and Identify Anomalies during job runs using sequence mining techniques and provide early warning / alerts
    • Cloud Migration - Patterns-based discovery optimization: Identify potential business application boundaries using algorithmic approach from Cloudscape data.
    • Wave planner: Employ goal-based reasoning from AI planning capabilities for Server affinity, cost, time, black-out windows, etc.
GTS Analytics team is building Data Management Capabilities and would be helping Clients manage their Enterprise IT as well as Business data. There capabilities would be around Data Collection, Data Transformation, Data Security, Data Governance, Data Catalog etc. Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture
  • Working knowledge of microservices using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Prior experience in document search stores like Elasticsearch and Timeseries DB like InfluxDB and open source data management tools like logstash, FluentD, Nifi, Airflow, Arrow, Flink, Druid, etc
  • Hands-on experience working in one of the Hyperscaler / cloud provider data platform (AWS, GCP Azure, IBM)
  • Familiarity with IT data and domain is desired, this includes Observability, AIOps, SRE, ITIL, Monitoring, etc
  • Knowledge of with prevalent message bus and queuing technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Proven background and exposure to databases, including both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (Redis, Cassandra, MongoDB) database systems
  • Familiarity with realtime streaming and processing of various data sources, including logs, time series telemetry data, unstructured social data and relational data
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Ability to leverage multiple programming languages to build production systems
  • Working knowledge of virtualization concepts and application
  • Passion for providing technical leadership and mentoring other engineers
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate and demonstrate empathy with key stakeholders
  • Love writing and improving code with an emphasis on testing and maintainability
  • Work well in a small team and able to balance and prioritize projects and requests
  • A positive energy and passion for delighting customers
  • Demonstrated ability to work at multiple levels of the stack in a fast-paced startup like environment
