Job Description

    Commis Chef Responsibilities:
    • Assist with menu planning, including menu costing, development, and execution
    • Stock, maintain, and rotate inventory, and accurately record and report inventory amounts
    • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, including proper thawing, cooking, and storing of meats, vegetables, and fruits
    • Prepare all food items according to recipes and specifications
    • Create and manage a schedule for ordering and maintaining kitchen supplies and equipment
    • Assist in hiring, training, and supervising kitchen staff
    • Conduct daily and weekly inspections to make sure kitchen is in compliance with health codes
    • Establish and maintain positive relationships with guests and coworkers

Keyskills :
previous kitchen experience in high volumefast paced environmenthighly motivated
