Job Description

    Position OverviewPosition Title: Cluster Sales ManagerDepartment: Axis BankLevel/Band: ManagerRole SummaryAs a Cluster Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving life insurance sales activities within your designated region. You will collaborate with Axis Banks Regional and Zonal Officers, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and provide guidance and support to your team. Your role will involve regular interaction with key stakeholders, including bank branch managers, to promote life insurance products and achieve sales targets.Your responsibilities will include managing a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs), maintaining product knowledge, ensuring productivity and compliance, and fostering strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner and Client Management
    • Work closely with Banks Regional Officers and their teams to align with life insurance goals.
    • Foster strong relationships with Regional Officers, Branch Managers, and KAMs to ensure product uptake and alignment with sales objectives.
    • Regularly engage with customers to explain product offerings and promote brand awareness.
    • Ensure the achievement of sales targets including new business (NB), renewals, product mix, and digitization.
    • Manage and drive local contests and initiatives to enhance team engagement.
    • Maintain ongoing communication with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient business processes.
    • Assist bank branches in adopting new technologies and processes.
    Team Management
    • Oversee and guide your KAMs to meet individual and branch sales targets for NB, renewals, STP, resolutions, and special projects.
    • Ensure your team is aligned with branch activities and consistently maintains high levels of engagement.
    • Develop and train your team to enhance performance, focusing on retention of top talent.
    • Keep management updated on activities, progress, and market conditions, including feedback from banks and competitors.
    Customer Service
    • Oversee customer service operations, ensuring timely grievance redressal, claim settlement, and renewal processes are maintained.
