Job Title: Data Scientist / Senior Data ScientistJob Location: Ahmedabad (Onsite)Shift Time: 2:00 PM 11:00 PM (5 days/week)Experience Required: 35 YearsAbout the RoleWe are currently looking for a Data Scientist/Senior Data Scientist to maintain, enhance, and further develop our Data Science website algorithms and business insight models. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and enjoys solving complex problems through scalable and impactful data solutions.You will play a key role in strengthening our data science frameworks, building new algorithms, and translating business needs into measurable outcomes.Why Youll Be a Great FitTechnically Strong: You understand systems architecture, data flows, and software quality attributes such as scalability, reliability, stability, and data integrity.Individual Contributor Mindset: You enjoy owning your work, contributing directly to platform innovation, and driving performance improvements.Problem Solver: You can navigate ambiguity, roll up your sleeves, and deliver results efficiently.Data-Centric Thinker: You love working with both quantitative and qualitative data, testing hypotheses, and iterating for continuous improvement.Adaptable & Agile: You learn quickly, manage multiple priorities, and overcome internal and external challenges with ease.Inquisitive by Nature: You are curious, proactive, and constantly asking the right questions to uncover better solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor, maintain, and troubleshoot existing Data Science applications and algorithms deployed on company frameworks.Work extensively with platforms such as proprietary Python-based recommendation frameworks, image testing frameworks, Airflow, Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Segment, and Confluence.Enhance, optimize, and add new features to existing Data Science algorithms.Design, develop, and deploy new algorithms while collaborating with DevOps and engineering teams.Evaluate, select, and assist in implementing new frameworks; migrate existing algorithms where required.Maintain and improve technical documentation for existing systems; create documentation for new frameworks and algorithms.Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities where Data Science can add business value.Maintain existing KPI data pipelines and develop new pipelines to measure the business impact of algorithms.Qualification & ExperienceBachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).3 years of hands-on experience in Data Science and DevOps-enabled environments.Strong expertise in Python (object-oriented programming, Pandas) and SQL.Experience working with large datasets and end-to-end data pipelines.Nice to HaveHands-on experience with Airflow, Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Segment, and Confluence.Background in retail or e-commerce analytics.Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, GitHub, or similar version control and project management platforms.
