Job Description

    Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for technology and a commitment to providing exceptional support to our users. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, assisting users with technical issues, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities
    • Perform OS installation, configuration, and upgrades on desktop systems.
    • Provide hardware networking support, including troubleshooting and repair of network issues.
    • Conduct regular maintenance and repair of desktop hardware to ensure optimal performance.
    • Assist users with Microsoft Outlook and OST file management, ensuring seamless email communication.
    • Utilize ticketing tools to track and resolve user issues efficiently.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems, providing timely solutions.
    • Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance overall service delivery and support.
    • Document technical procedures and user guides to improve knowledge sharing within the team.
    • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices in desktop support.
    QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
    • 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in desktop support or a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of operating systems, hardware components, and networking principles.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to desktop environments.
    • Experience with ticketing tools and customer support processes.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-oriented approach.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A, Microsoft Certified) are a plus.
