Job Description

    The IBM Sustainability Software business unit is seeking talented and motivated Software Developers to work as a Development (Engineering) Manager on the Maximo family of products. In this role, you will be the personnel manager for a 10-15 person team and responsible for building a culture of high performance trust, inclusively and fun. You ll closely collaborate with the broader Product Management, Design, Development & Support team to manage delivery of our offering roadmap. While you re not responsible for coding directly, it s expected that you have enough relevant technical experience to provide guidance to your team and help unblock progress. This is an exciting opportunity to learn how the industry leading Enterprise Asset Management suite of products works and to learn from a large team of very talented engineers.Required Technical and Professional Expertise
    • Overall 8 10+ years of experience
    • 1+ years experience in people management
    • Customer facing experience including verbal and written communication and flexibility to accommodate customer s needs
    • 5 years experience in Agile development methodologies
    • 5 years experience with at least one programming language: Java, Python or JavaScript
    • 4 years experience with SQL / NoSQL database technologies including Mongo, DB2 and Oracle
    • 2+ years experience with Git and Jira
