Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As a technology leader, own the technology roadmap and make the right choices for creating the best-in-class technology stack for the product portfolio
  • Lead a team of full stack engineers/designers, act as a mentor to engineering team
  • Architect end to end cloud infrastructure including data ingestion pipeline and micro services.
  • Collaborate and Co-ordinate with other cross-functional leaders in the organization to understand the Customer requirements and serve as a technical expert
  • Based on the market input, execute on product roadmap, drive technical PoCs, propose best-in-class solutions to meet customer s requirements
  • Drive the architectural evolution of the product portfolio
  • Ensure non-functional requirements are met such as scalability, reliability, security and performance
  • Own the Data Engineering stack for reporting and analytics
  • Continuous data monitoring to ensure SLAs, data driven decisions
  • Establishment of and adherence to the best practices in product development processes with the focus on quality and on-time delivery
Essential Skills:
  • Microservices environment with API gateway using Node.js
  • Experience working on AWS cloud environment
  • Deep knowledge of technology applicable to XaaS (as-a-service) market
  • SQL and NoSQL db configuration for optimum performance (eg. Postgres, Cassandra)
  • Event-driven & message-oriented architecture, REST API
  • Manage Data Routing, Load Balancing, Redundancy, Disaster Recover, VPN, Firewalls, etc.
  • Maintaining a data ingestion pipeline scalable to millions of records per day
  • Experience in developing applications using Kafka, Apache Spark, Spark Streaming, Big Data, Hadoop, AI/ML tools, mobile applications(iOS, android, Windows), Html5/Css3, Python
Qualifications:
  • Masters / Bachelors degree in Computer Science from premium institute
  • Overall 12+ years of experience
  • 7+ years of experience developing and delivering cloud platforms, database solutions
  • 5+ years of experience leading large engineering teams and delivering multiple products on time
  • Deep expertise in Connected Car , IoT, Automotive and mobility applications a plus
  • AWS Cloud certification a plus
  • Experience with agile methodology of working
  • Demonstrated experience in architecture & design complex, scalable, high volume micro service applications
  • Built and deployed large scale cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, ability to manage stakeholders and work collaboratively in a high-performance environment
  • Contribution to open source software s, technical blogs
  • Written technology white papers, publications
