The overall objective of LargeScale Education program is to generate data in the field of education at a large scale to help Government and policymakers to make datainformed decisions. The data can also feed into the education research to enrich the overall global understanding of how children learn which is called the Science of Learning.Reforms take a long time and hence the most intrinsic quality for anyone working with LSEP is to be patient. The transformation that we are striving for is slow , but is definite and will show its leap effect only after some time.Hence , a person who is hardworking , sound with content knowledge , comfortable working on and off the field to create assessments , has the skill to interact and connect with students and children alike and has research inclination is the most suited candidate for this role.Who can it be What will the candidate do EI promotes leadership and managerial skills at each level. Hence the candidate should be ready to own the tasks , manage projects and exhibit leadership qualities.LSEP works through projects and in a usual project cycle , the ES would be expected to do the following tasks:Anyone who has great aptitude , logical and analytical thinking and can put in hard work , can do routine things differently and different things routinely are welcome to apply. You can be from any discipline , but as far as you are able to contribute to the larger mission of EI , you are welcome to apply.Candidates who have prior experience in the field of education , have worked closely with teachers or teacher trainers and students will find the job interesting.Building simple but discerning questions to check whether the child has really understoodCommenting and finalizing questions made by peers to enhance quality of questionsValidating translated questions and content to enhance the quality of the sameMaking standardized test papers for different projectsAnalyzing largescale student response data to figure out how children think and learnDesigning and conducting training and workshops on Assessment Process , Question making , understanding results , and reports , etc.Conduct evaluator training / post analysis workshops throughout the countrySpending considerable time on field by setting standard processes , doing trainings for invigilators and helping out with field audit and other relevant implements,
