As a software engineer you will be part of a team responsible for rolling out and integrating various solutions into our IT Landscape. You will work with development teams & stakeholders in various locations, eg. Pune Bangalore, UK and Copenhagen. Show More Key responsibilitiesThe software engineer is responsible for driving the team towards the successful technical delivery of features.You get involved in upcoming feature related discussion that would become a distraction to the wider team. You become the go-to person for issues related to a specific set of features.As a software engineer you will be responsible for the implementation quality and will ensure that the correct procedures are in place to assure (code and feature) quality.As a software engineer you will be part of a DevOps team with the following tasks: Write, deliver code and participate in code walkthroughs according to the requirements of the functional specifications Develop or ensure code is at high standard and specifications are in accordance with current framework Build strong collaborative relationships with architects, designers, external providers, vendor staff and business partners. Assist as required in scope definition, technical viability scoping and best practice solution design to meet the requirements Aware and communicate all risks and issues that affect the system performance and availability Form strong and trusted relationship with the Product Owner; ensuring that the Product Owner is fully aware of the technical capabilities and shortcomings of the product allowing for sensible technical investment and debt repayment decisions Work across teams to define efficient solutions and implementation strategies to create value for Maersk Possibly mentor staff in the software development method; coding and testing techniques Collaborate with vendor and Maersk support staff in doing root cause analysis of incidents and reported issuesShow More We are looking forExperience & Technical SkillsMust have A minimum of 10+ years experience as a software developer, on OpenLink / Findur Treasury System A minimum 2+ years of working as a Lead Developer, ensuring other developers follow the agreed delivery model and quality standards A minimum of 5 years working with large scale treasury systems and integrations Fully understand the Treasury business language and capable of converting business requirement direct from conversation with end user to Findur / JAVA code or system configuration In-depth understanding of the Findur data modelling and system designs Experienced working in global teams, in close cooperation with both the business and technical side of the system Knowledgeable in Vendor hosted system setup and segregation of roles Solid experience in system integration to external trade interface, payment channels and marked data providers Experience in handling deliverables in a DevOps setup, being responsible for the complete build process Highly skilled in writing clean, reusable and structured code Highly skilled in maintaining code already delivered.
