Job Description

The Major Projects groups is currently seeking an experienced FPSO Process Engineering Manager with experience with an EPC organization. This role is will be located in one of three location: China, Singapore, or S. Korea.Specific Accountabilities

  • The overall supervision of the discipline work
  • Technical competence of discipline personnel.
  • Forecast requirement for discipline engineering resources, and allocate those resources.
  • Ensure design integrity of work scope and maintenance of standards.
  • Identify software necessary to enable the group to function effectively.
  • Technical direction, advice and control of the work.
  • Scope definition, estimation and progress control of the discipline engineering activities
  • Interdisciplinary communication development.
  • Structural group communication development.
  • Promote cost reduction and productivity enhancing initiatives.
  • Promote career development within the group.
  • Planning of manhour budgets, schedules, manpower loadings and staffing requirements, by skill and experience, to satisfy project requirements and direction given by the Engineering Manager
  • Co-ordination of Discipline engineering design and drafting
  • Liaison with other discipline Lead engineers on technical issues and engineering matters.
  • Assisting asset/client Lead Project Engineers in the definition of the discipline engineering work in any project, design approach and criteria, procedures for engineering work and timely production of deliverables
  • Co-ordination and preparation of input to Essential Discipline Documents, as defined by the client/ contract.
  • Quality Assurance Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Project.
  • Safety Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Project.
  • Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
, *Minimum 15 years experience in offshore oil and gas industry with a strong focus on FPSO projects, including experience on new builds and conversions10 years Oil and Gas Industry experienceStrong and broad technical knowledge across all aspects of FPSO topside and vessel utilitiesAbility to work in a team environmentDynamic and enthusiastic approach is essential
