Conversant with Preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, H&M Balances, Process Design calculations and preparation of Equipment data sheets Preparation of Process documents like Basis of Design, H&MB reports, Operation Control and Safeguarding Philosophies, Tie In and shutdown philosophies, hydraulic reports Line Lists, Valve lists, Venting, Draining and Isolation philosophy documents etc Hands on experience in process simulation softwares like HYSYS,PRO2, CHEMCAD, UNISIM ETC Hands on experience in hydraulics, line sizing, calculations, for liquid, gas, 2 Phase lines etc required Familiarity with various international design standards like API, Shell standards required. Review of vendor documentation and manage procurement of process equipment and components Liaise with Senior process engineers on both Technical and general business matters . Execute process plant pre commissioning/ commissioning on site as required Perform special tasks as assignedSkills and Experience: A degree in Chemical Engineering from a reputed college, preferably IITs, NITs, RECs At least minimum 5 years professional experience in Process design and engineering Technical competence in the unit operations of separation, heat transfer, mass transfer and especially fluid transfer Hands on plant experience, either operational or during commissioning will be an added advantage Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft office programs especially MS Excel Be attentive to detail, and be should be able and willing to perform the tasks within specific period Have strong analytical skills
