Group Product Manager (ZYDUS lifesciences)Reporting to: Marketing HeadGrade: M5Location: AhmedabadJob PurposeTo drive product portfolio assigned, so as to achieve Top-line and bottom-line.Areas Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities1. Business Strategy Collaborate with Marketing Manager and Division Head to define aspiration and strategy for DivisionTo create a culture of strategic excellence and encourage others to think long-term, developing strategic advantage and pursue for opportunities for future developmentA strategic thinking and a result-driven doer, understands business needs, provide strategic support, find the solutions and put good ideas into actionResponsible for providing the sales team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell the product. This involves printed and electronic promotional material, product training, and relevant clinical papers2. Sales and Marketing Responsible for reviewing and analyzing monthly/quarterly/yearly data for estimating assigned product performance & market trendDelivery of brand sales objectives & market shares as per agreed measuresTo set the marketing direction for the brand assignedInterventions in all elements of the marketing mix- product, price, packaging, promotion and product placement strategiesReviewing AIOCD report, SMSRC Report and upcoming promotional plansAnalyzing the market, competition & conducting market research to identify opportunities, threats & key issuesInter Departmental follow ups & maintain positive attitude that promotes teamworkLead implementation of launch plan in close coordination with other stakeholders to ensure timely high quality product launchSupport the strategy formulation for product launches3. Finance ManagementCoordinating and assisting in developing annual brand budgeting & brand marketing plansManagement of direct marketing costs within agreed measures in order to maximize returns on investmentResponsible for preparing product forecasts, and constantly monitoring inventory levels held at central and interstate warehouses including liaison with production (locally and globally) to ensure supply timelinesKey InteractionsInternal.
