Job Description

    Contribute to overall IT strategy and roadmap formulation by evaluating ideas and providing inputs from Cloud perspectiveDefine the strategic objectives, road map and goals for the Cloud CoE function keeping in mind the present/ future requirements of the group and businessEnvision the future of Cloud Technology adoption for the organization and champion strategic projects / initiatives that can create business value consistent with the organizations requirements and expectationsDevelop and structure the best practices and standards in tune with the latest industry needs and emerging thought streams (develop templates, blueprints, standard processes & and methodologies and scale with time)Collaborate with Business CIOs and assist in formulating the Cloud strategy for individual businesses in alignment with the requirementDefine budget for the technology function basis established guidelines and ensure adherence; Monitor budgeting for technology initiatives and projectsEducational Qualification:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; Masters Degree in IT management fieldExperiences:Minimum of 15-18 years of experience and at least 5+ years of proven experience in cloud infrastructure projects on cloud assessments and cloud migrationsAWS Architecture / Azure Architecture experience ideally with the appropriate vendor certificationUnderstanding of hybrid cloud solutions and experience of integrating public cloud into tradition hosting/delivery modelsStrong understanding of cloud migration techniques (on premise to Cloud PlatformsExperience in development and deployment in three or more of the following:
    • AWS apps technologies such as RDS, Elastic Beanstalk
    • Azure or AWS IaaS & PaaS Technologies
    • Deployed applications with Web UI frontends
    • Deployed application with RESTful/SOAP services interfaces
    • Experience building private AMIs on VPCs
    • High Availability and Disaster recovery implementations
    Experience of designing and implementing application and infrastructure monitoring solutionsExperience architecting & deploying multi-tiered applications, security architectures across infra and applicationsExperience building and deploying multi-tier, scalable, and highly available applications using Java, Microsoft and Database technologiesExperience in performance tuning (load balancing, web servers, content delivery Networks, Caching (Content and API))Appreciation of cost drivers in systems delivery and operations and the commercial consequences of the technical decisionsSound exposure to IT research & technologies tools and techniques and knowledge sharingExposure of managing large scale transformation projects & seasoned understanding of change managementExperience of managing complex stakeholder interactions and leading discussions with top managementExperience of managing technical teams and working in cross functional set up; Ability to coach and guide teams
