We look forward to hearing from you.Position SummaryThe IT Director- Business Partner will work as the strategic partner for the company business in Asia for business-IT strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. This person provides highly-valued strategic consulting level support and guidance throughout key IT initiatives.They facilitate, and serve as a lead, for the planning and execution of initiatives to enable the business teams to achieve objectives through the effective use of technology. They also communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business needs, projects and initiatives. Business partners proactively serve as a trusted advisor, and function as a key point of contact for IT business stakeholders.They also act as advocates on behalf of business stakeholders to ensure IT services meet their business priorities and needs. Individuals in this role must be able to communicate clearly, negotiate, listen, mitigate conflict, build alliances and achieve desired results using strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills. They work closely with others on intangible issues across organizational and business-entity boundaries. Their knowledge of technology risks and opportunities are shared to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business teams.This role will also build and manage the IT shared service team for JD Edwards, supporting other businesses that use JD Edwards across the globe. This will require building a strong team, partnering with IT leaders from other IT leaders globally and establishing strong processes to efficiently and effectively support application development, support and administration.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEstablishes and maintains a strategic relationship with appropriate level key stakeholders business leadership team in India and ChinaUnderstand business strategy and align IT strategy and roadmap to enable business initiativesDemonstrates an in-depth knowledge of IT and the services provided by IT, and how IT solutions can support the achievement of short and long-term business goals.Represents the business strategies and priorities to broader IT organization atRepresents the global IT vision and strategy to the businessKeep up with technology trends and leverage technology to improve efficiency, productivity, and enable growth within your division(s)Manage business demands and set priorities working with business leadersWork closely with applications team for build and run, ensure priority is appropriately given to your divisions needsWork with corporate teams to drive security, infrastructure and support needsPartner with business to evaluate, build business case and implement Digital, Industry 4.0, IOT solutionsOwn IT budget + Compliance GDPR, SOX for your divisionManage the local IT teams that included project managers , business analysts, application developers and administratorsManage shared service team for JD Edwards application development, support and administrationRequirementsEducation - Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business or a related field; MBA preferredRequired/preferred skills15 years of internal/external IT experienceMinimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, business analysis, consulting, process engineering or solutions management or other related areaExperience successfully leading large, complex projects and/or in business/IT consulting/management rolesRequires leadership and negotiation skills and experience/in-depth knowledge of the business requirements analysis and IT processesInternational experience preferredAbility to work autonomouslyBusiness knowledge strong background in various business functions and operationsStrategic thinkingBusiness strategy awarenessIT Strategy developmentCommunicationConflict managementBreadth and depth of IT solutions relevant to our businessExperience supporting engineering and manufacturing organizationsExperience with JD Edwards or other ERP solutions and customer-relationship management (CRM) solutionsTalent management and team leadershipLanguage skills: English is required, but other languages are a plusTravel 10-20% (most domestic + possible international)Thanks and regardsPankaj GhoshDhruv Corporate (HR) Solutions Pvt.
