Job Description

Leading a Conglomerate into diversified business is actively looking for a DGM (FA & JV) role in Ahmedabad with - To lead a team to ensure that all fixed asset transactions and related activities are carried out in compliance with company policies, procedures, accounting standards and relevant statutory compliance. To support COE leader on all activities in the COE road map and to drive rigor and enforce continuous improvement across all processes. Key Accountabilities : - Ensure proper set- up and functioning of Fixed Asset team and Journal Voucher team. Provide guidance to the department to ensure high degree of accuracy and process compliance. Ensure the preparation of PBC report for Fixed Asset GL and Fixed Asset Schedule in compliance of Revised Schedule VI of the Companies Act. and address the transactional audit query at L1 Level. - Develop and implement FAA operating procedures that are consistent with Adani accounting policies - Provide guidance and advise to users on capital vs. expense policy - Monitor performance of team members on a regular basis & recommend trainings as and when needed. Cultivate strong relationship and work culture within the team. Drive zero regrettable attrition in team - Pro- actively support COE leader and business with driving closure on all activities in the COE roadmap - Drive process rigor and monitor quality on an ongoing basis through random checking. Drive standardization, simplification & best practice sharing across all businesses. Review and suggest ways of improvements in the processes - Effectively identify, manage, resolve and mitigate key risks and issues impacting the R2R operations - Ensure timely completion of team member PMS (Half yearly & Annually).,
