Hi, Hiring for Environmental Coordinator in Sanand. Exp: 2+Years Location: Sanand CTC: Best in Industry Industry: FMCG/Beverage Qualifications: Should be an Environmental/ Chemical/ Civil Engineer however, if there is a dynamic and quick learning individual at the plant (preferably an Engineer or a Chemist) with suitable years of experience and wants to switch to Environmental, then he/ she could be imparted with requisite training exposure to handle the job responsibilities of the Environmental Co-ordinator; Through prior work experience, demonstrate that he/ she has developed and implemented at least 4 to 5 medium-sized projects (water/ wastewater/ solid waste related) successfully from inception; 2to 5 years of experience in an industry or consulting firm or laboratory; Computer proficiency especially in Windows 95/ 97, MS Office, Emails, etc.; Should know local language and understand language of neighboring states; and Effective at following up on issues with plant people and using consultants. Responsibilities: Ensure Environmental Compliance with respect to Indian Environmental Regulations: Compliance with consent conditions, renewal, amendments, etc.; Ensure environmental compliance with respect to The Coca-Cola Environmental Management System Requirements such as Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan, Spill Prevention Plan, Water Minimization Plan, Asbestos Containment, etc. Manage/ conduct operation and maintenance of Wastewater Treatment Plant and/or Tertiary Treatment Plant as per vendors manual. Supervise associated activities such as WWTP laboratory, WWTP- chemical storage room, Sludge Management; Green Belt etc. and track cost/ performance in division prescribed format. Manage/ conduct activities as storage / disposal, stormwater, sewage treatment plant/ septic tanks, supervise chemists, operators, casuals etc. associated with WWTP, Solid Waste, Green belt. Minimize Environmental Impacts of our operations, products & packages through research and application of new technology Minimize Discharges of waste materials into the environment by utilizing responsible pollution control practices.
