  • Deliver finance operations activities in line with Global Syngenta Standards (GSM), Finance Target Operating Model (TOM), other applicable corporate policies and procedures
  • Prepare Ledger Accounting, Statutory Accounting and Reporting and/or Tax Reporting
  • Uses best practices and knowledge to improve processes/services
About this Job:
  • Responsibility for the accounting processes
  • Active involvement of month end closing and supporting year end processes
  • Active communication with other departments
  • Cooperation with auditors
  • Building and maintaining strong relationship with stakeholders
  • Reconciling balance sheet ledgers to sub-ledgers on AP/AR/GL and clearing accounts
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
  • 5-7 years of experience in multinational environment
  • Concern for high standards and data accuracy and service mindset
  • Ability to communicate financial information to a finance audience
  • Sound in economics, finance, or accounting background
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus)
  • Good understanding of local statutory, tax, and statistical reporting requirements
  • Ability to effectively work in a cross-functional matrix organization
  • Work in a shared service finance center may be beneficial
  • Experience working on End-to-End process improvement and service delivery
  • Experience working in a shared service center or Multinational delivering automated/semi-automated/manual Procure to Pay (P2P) processes
Qualification:
  • Bachelor/Master/MBA in Economics or Finance
People:
  • Expected to work fairly independently
  • Unlikely to have team leadership role but will provide guidance to newer/more junior colleagues in team
Additional Information:
  • Fluent in English, both orally and in writing
  • International experience working with large multinationals
  • Ability to travel
  • Work well in open office environment
