The company also offers training and RPO services to enhance organizational efficiency.Job Title: Payroll Executive Location: Ahmedabad (Adani shanti gram) Department: Human Resources Qualification: MBA (HR) or relevantJob Summary:The Payroll Executive is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with local labour laws and company policies. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of payroll processes, taxation, and statutory regulations.Key Responsibilities:
    • Payroll Processing: Handle end-to-end payroll processing, including salary computation, overtime calculation, deductions, and reimbursements. Ensure accuracy and timely salary disbursement.
    • Compliance & Statutory Deductions: Ensure adherence to all applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory compliance such as Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), and other relevant regulations.
    • Payroll Data Management: Maintain and update payroll records, employee details, attendance, leave records, and benefits information in payroll systems.
    • Payroll Reports & Audits: Prepare payroll reports, salary registers, and reconciliation statements for management review. Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Employee Queries & Issue Resolution: Address employee queries related to payroll, salary components, tax deductions, and other payroll-related concerns.
    • Coordination with Finance & HR Teams: Collaborate with HR to process employee records, new hires, exits, and salary revisions. Work with the Finance department for payroll-related financial reporting and compliance.
    • Taxation & Year-End Processes: Assist in the preparation of tax filings, generation of Form 16, and other year-end tax documentation. Ensure proper deductions and compliance with tax laws.
    • System Updates & Payroll Software Management: Maintain payroll software, update policies, and suggest improvements for better payroll efficiency. Stay updated with the latest payroll technology trends.
    • Government & External Agency Coordination: Liaise with external auditors, labor offices, and statutory authorities for payroll compliance and inspections.
    • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate payroll processes, suggest improvements, and implement automation to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
