This position is for a Software Developer to join team in developing cutting edge iOS applications. Candidates must be creative, highly motivated, and have a passion for solving complex, technical problems. This position requires that candidates have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and can work closely with remote team members.Responsibilities: Development of iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad based apps.Deal with clientsrsquo data, feeds and designs.Co-operation with other development team members (e.g. Project manager, Web programmers, graphic designers, and authors, quality assurance) in the production of a finished product.Ability to work on project without detailed instructions; taking the initiative with this job is important.On-going maintenance of existing projects.Must be able to understand all aspects of a typical business and need strong business skills.Identifying challenges and technical issuesSetup and manage an iOS team.Setup guidelines for creating a robust test environment for IPhone Apps across various devices.Develop IPhone application as per the requirementsSkills to deliver high performance IPhone applicationAccountable for coding, documenting, testing, and maintaining the applications. Responsible for design, development and implementation of key company mobile applications.Minimum Qualifications & Skills: Knowledge & Experience of SqlLite and a working experience in SQL databases.Knowledge & Experience of HTML and Javascript a plus.Coding standards, organizational programming skills and good commenting practices is important.3-5 years of overall software/ application development, with 2 years of demonstrated experience delivering high-quality applications in the mobile space.Expert on Objective C, iPhone SDK (Xcode), Cocoa, Touch, with a portfolio of native mobile applications on both iPhone/ iPad.Proven aptitude developing applications leveraging XML/ JSON based RESTful/ SOAP APIs.Knowledge and experience of version control tools like SVN or Github.Push Notification, location-based application, in-app purchase, third party API integration, Open GL is preferable, Cocos2D is preferableAdditional qualification: Strong understanding of the server side software, scalability, performance and reliability aspects.An extroverted technologist with great communications skills that can be leverage on client engagements.Able to effectively interact with product managers and other organizational units such as QA and Operations.The successful candidate may have some client contact via phone and/ or e-mail during the development phase of projects.
