Job Description

    We have an opening for ITI Fitter our client in Kheda.Job Title: ITI Electrician Foundry Job Location: [Kheda]Department: Maintenance / ElectricalReports to: Electrical Maintenance Supervisor / Plant ManagerJob Type: Full-TimeRole Overview:We are seeking a skilled ITI Electrician with expertise in handling electrical systems in a Foundry environment, specifically in the Induction Furnace and Sand Plant areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, ensuring the efficient operation of equipment, and minimizing downtime in the production processes.Key Responsibilities:
    1. Electrical Maintenance:
      • Conduct routine checks and maintenance of Induction Furnace electrical systems.
      • Perform maintenance and repair work on electrical circuits, wiring, panels, and equipment in the Sand Plant.
      • Troubleshoot electrical faults in machines and control systems to ensure continuous operation of the foundry.
    2. Installation & Setup:
      • Install new electrical systems and equipment as per safety standards and operational needs.
      • Set up and wire electrical connections for induction furnaces, transformers, and other foundry machinery.
    3. Control Systems:
      • Assist in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of PLC-based control systems and control panels.
      • Ensure proper functioning of automated systems used in the furnace and sand plant operations.
    4. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:
      • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on all electrical components, including motors, transformers, and heating systems.
      • Conduct corrective maintenance when equipment fails, quickly identifying faults and repairing them to avoid production delays.
    5. Troubleshooting & Repairs:
      • Diagnose and fix issues with electrical machinery such as induction furnaces, motors, drives, and conveyor systems.
      • Repair electrical faults quickly to minimize downtime and keep the production line moving.
    6. Safety & Compliance:
      • Follow safety procedures and regulations for electrical maintenance, ensuring the safety of self and others in the work environment.
      • Adhere to all plant standards for quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
      • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following best practices for tool and equipment storage, electrical wiring safety, and workplace protocols.
    7. Documentation & Reporting:
      • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including service logs, repair reports, and work order history.
      • Provide daily and weekly maintenance reports to the supervisor, highlighting issues, repairs made, and preventive actions taken.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Education: ITI in Electrician or equivalent electrical trade certification.
    • Experience: Minimum 4-12 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a foundry, manufacturing plant, or similar industrial environment.
    • Technical Skills:
      • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, motors, induction furnaces, and sand plant machinery.
      • Experience with electrical panels, transformers, and switchgear.
      • Ability to work with PLCs and control systems used in industrial automation.
      • Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and control circuit issues.
