Job Description

    Roles & Responsibilities:
    1. Machine Operation & Setup:
    • Set up and calibrate laser cutting machines based on job specifications.
    • Load and unload materials such as metal sheets, acrylic, and other cutting materials.
    • Adjust machine settings, including laser speed, power, and focus for optimal cutting.
    1. Programming & Blueprint Reading:
    • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs.
    • Program and modify machine settings using CNC software and G-code.
    • Ensure correct cutting parameters for different materials and thicknesses.
    1. Quality Control & Inspection:
    • Perform measurements and quality checks to ensure accuracy and precision.
    • Identify and correct cutting defects, burrs, and misalignments.
    • Maintain high-quality standards by following inspection guidelines.
    1. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
    • Conduct routine maintenance on laser cutting machines to prevent breakdowns.
    • Clean and replace nozzles, lenses, and filters as needed.
    • Troubleshoot and fix minor mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
    1. Safety & Compliance:
    • Follow all safety protocols and workplace guidelines for laser equipment.
    • Wear proper protective gear (PPE), including safety glasses and gloves.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
