Job Description

Job Profile/ specific desirable expenses, preferred knowledge area Supply Chain Facilities -

  • Detailed knowledge of facilities required to support Supply Chain Management.
  • Evaluate & execute Stores Capacity enhancement & logistic Cost reduction projects.
  • Improvement & establish Systems & Processes for supply Module at all FD plants.
  • Workout optimised Project Scope, Cost & buyoff with internal FD plant customers.
  • Project Management - Prepare, monitor & control Project time plan using MS Project.
  • Prepare Layouts using latest designing software like Acad.
  • Process mapping of internal material movement in plant to optimise the movement & cost.
  • Preparation of RFQ, for the procurement of Equipment s & Facilities across all FD Plant locations.
  • Vendor evaluation, Techno Commercial discussions with Vendors & cost finalisation for Material Handling equipment.
  • Knowledge & Implementation of IT based system like VTS, WMS, KANBAN, BAR coding etc.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Team Center & advance Xls.
  • EBOM & M BOM management, Warehouse management, Kitting
  • Ensure deliverables of the projects in terms of QCD as per master schedule
  • Handover, ORC resolution & provide post project support to achieve project deliverables.
  • Estimate, Plan & Control Revenue Budget & Capex for Projects.
  • Capture lesson learnt after each projects & use for next project.
Plant Infrastructure, MHE & Utilities
  • Knowledge of setup of Quality Labs, Inspection setup.
  • Knowledge of Gantry structures & Material handling Equipment s
  • Knowledge of Cranes, Hoists, conveyors & lifts.
  • Knowledge of IT Facilities required for Supply module
  • Knowledge of Basic utilities & infrastructure
