Based in Ahmedabad, we are committed to excellence in manufacturing and are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team and drive operational efficiency in our manufacturing unit.Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing unit in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production processes, maintaining quality standards, managing resources efficiently, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of manufacturing operations in the skincare, cosmetics, or oral care industry.Key Responsibilities:Production Management:Oversee the entire manufacturing process to ensure timely production and delivery of high-quality products.Monitor production schedules, workflows, and resource allocation to meet production targets.Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory standards.Team Leadership:Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production staff, supervisors, and technicians.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to enhance team skills.Quality Assurance:Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.Implement and maintain quality control procedures to minimize defects and waste.Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address and resolve quality issues.Inventory and Supply Chain Management:Manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials.Optimize inventory turnover and reduce holding costs.Cost Management:Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overheads.Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or efficiency.Prepare and manage the operations budget.Process Improvement:Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the production process and implement solutions.Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.Health, Safety, and Compliance:Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety protocols.Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations related to manufacturing operations.Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.Reporting and Documentation:Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, quality metrics, and operational KPIs.Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory, and compliance documentation.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
