Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Patient Care:
      • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
      • Monitor patients vital signs, symptoms, and behaviors to identify changes in their condition.
      • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
    2. Collaboration:
      • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
      • Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress.
    3. Documentation:
      • Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports in compliance with healthcare regulations.
      • Document nursing interventions and patient responses according to established protocols.
    4. Education:
      • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, preventive care, and treatment options.
      • Provide training and guidance to nursing assistants and other support staff as needed.
    5. Patient Advocacy:
      • Advocate for the rights and needs of patients and ensure they receive appropriate care and support.
      • Respond to patients concerns and inquiries in a compassionate and timely manner.
    6. Infection Control:
      • Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
      • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
    7. Professional Development:
      • Stay current with nursing practices, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
      • Participate in ongoing education, training, and professional development opportunities.
