Job Description

Identify potential suppliers, obtain quotations, and evaluate them based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.
Maintain and update a list of approved suppliers and establish good relationships with them.
Conduct supplier assessments and manage vendor performance.
Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procurement policies.
Track and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, discrepancies, or quality concerns.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
