Job Description

    Company Profile: Pharmaceutical Procurement & Healthcare Supply ChainPosition:Procurement OfficerLocation: AhmedabadAbout the Role:We are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer to manage procurement activities for pharmaceutical products, ensuring timely sourcing, supplier coordination, compliance with procurement procedures, and smooth execution of purchase orders.Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage end-to-end procurement activities in compliance with company policies and SOPs.
    • Source products from qualified Indian suppliers and issue RFQs.
    • Evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing, and maintain supplier relationships.
    • Prepare and process Purchase Orders through the ERP system.
    • Coordinate with Quality, Logistics, and other internal departments for smooth procurement operations.
    • Maintain vendor database, pricing records, and procurement documentation.
    • Assist in supplier evaluation, audits, and product identification.
    • Support procurement budget preparation and cost optimization initiatives.
    • Ensure timely execution and follow-up of purchase orders.
    • Provide support to procurement team members and handle additional responsibilities as assigned.
    Desired Candidate:
    • Graduate in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, Pharmacy, or a related field.
    • 6 years of experience in Procurement or Sourcing, preferably in the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or Medical Products
    • Experience in vendor management, supplier negotiations, and procurement operations.
