Job Description

    Job Title: Production EngineerLocation: Bhayla Village, Bavla, AhmedabadVacancies: 8Education Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production, Plastics Engineering, or related fieldKey Responsibilities
    • Operate, monitor, and optimize injection moulding machines to achieve production targets.
    • Set up moulds, adjust machine parameters, and ensure proper start-up and shutdown procedures.
    • Troubleshoot machine, mould, and process-related issues to minimize downtime.
    • Monitor production quality, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with product specifications.
    • Collaborate with quality and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.
    • Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards in the production area.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce scrap, and lower costs.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of production parameters, downtime, and maintenance activities.
    • Train and guide machine operators and shop floor staff.
    • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules with the maintenance team to avoid unexpected breakdowns.
    Key Skills & Competencies
    • Strong knowledge of injection moulding machines, tooling, and processes (Milacron/Haitan/JSW).
    • Expertise in problem-solving and troubleshooting.
    • Knowledge of plastics materials and their processing behaviour.
    • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and 5S practices.
    • Strong communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
    Experience
    • Hands-on experience in machine setup, parameter setting, and troubleshooting.
    • Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems preferred.
    • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in household plastic manufacturing companies.
